Why Glenbard Autobody
As you know vehicle repairs are approached a variety if different ways depending on the shop owner or management. At Glenbard Autobody, we elect to use techniques and parts that will restore your vehicle to original factory specifications – in other words, the work we do is intended to have the same fit and finish as the day the vehicle rolled off the assembly line. This reason alone is why we have not only survive but thrived over the years, specifically by creating a loyal base of customers that comeback time and time again. Our top priority is establishing long lasting relationships that span decades.
Over 30 Years In Business
Stability speaks volumes for any business and we are no exception to the rule. Over the course of 3 decades Jim and Janice Wolak have carefully analyzed the inner workings of their business, competitors and customers in order to plan for the future. That being said, the time tested methodology that serves as the operational backbone is constantly being amended to offer a better customer experience. The stability of a long standing operation coupled with daily innovations make Glenbard a solid choice.
Latest Technology & Hardware
In 2002, Jim and Janice’s youngest son Jeff joined the team. He has since been instrumental in bridging a growing generational divide by updating the shop with the latest technology and equipment in order to not only stay competitive, but surpass the capabilities of the competition. The long time prosperity of Glenbard has allowed for a substantial investment into this modernization. We are now able to complete larger jobs in a shorter amount of time while increasing overall quality.
Our work and the parts we use are guaranteed. If at any point there is a failure not resulting from normal wear and tear in any of the work we have performed or the parts we have installed, the issue will be corrected for free. We stand behind our labor and parts to an unprecedented degree in our industry.
A Family Affair
In the past, we have been approached to merge with larger auto body shops or become part of a national franchise. While lucrative opportunities exist in those type of arrangements, at the end of the day we feel that what we have created is so unique that we didn’t want to risk losing our distinct family touch. Every customer is important to us and it shows through to the outstanding service and top quality repair work. We’re confident in saying that the overall attention to detail during your entire experience is something only that can only be achieved through a family owned and operated business.
Jim Wolak has come a long way from fixing lawnmowers out of his parents garage. He built Glenbard by constantly challenging himself and his staff by taking larger and larger repair jobs. This underlying ambitious mindset has been instrumental in Glenbard’s ability to take uncommon jobs such as airplane repairs, exotic / rare vehicles and even industrial grade equipment such as tractors, commercial vehicles etc. The knowledge acquired when working on the uncommon jobs has practical application to common jobs by adapting various techniques that increase quality or save cost.
