For over 47 years, Glenbard Auto Body has served the DuPage County community with honest, expert collision repair. Founded by Jim Wolak, we've grown from a small west side body shop into a full collision repair facility on Roosevelt Road without losing the personal service that built our reputation.

Jeff Wolak owns Glenbard Auto Body and runs it day to day, more than twenty years after joining his father in the shop.
Jim Wolak opened Glenbard Auto Body in Lombard in 1978 and built it on a simple idea: tell people the truth about their car and do the work properly. Jeff grew up around that shop, joined the team in 2002, and learned the trade on the floor rather than from a manual. Today the business is his, and you will find him here every day the doors are open.
That matters more than it sounds. When you bring a vehicle to Glenbard, you are dealing with the owner, not a service writer working from a script at a shop the owner has never set foot in. Jeff writes and stands behind the work, answers the questions your insurer will not, and is the person you talk to if something is not right. There is no layer between you and the man whose name is on the building.
The shop has grown a good deal since 1978. There is a parts department, an in house paint booth, I-CAR Gold Class certified technicians, and equipment that matches anything the national chains are running. What has not changed is who is accountable for the result, which is the part Jeff took over along with the keys.
